From the grove
to the grid.

Argon Web design built Bovalina’s website and brand, and required a suite of images to accompany it.

Half the job was documentary. Bovalina press their own oil at Penfield Gardens and the family are in the shed doing it, so a good part of the day went on following that: olives coming off the trees, olives going into the hopper. Carmine the owner hands on in the facility.

The other half was product photography for the online store, which wants the opposite of all that. Every bottle at the same angle, the same light, the same distance, so the range reads as a range when it’s sitting in a grid on a screen.
